Textron Systems in New Orleans is seeking a Tool Room Technician to perform tool crib duties, inventory management, RFID tagging, and basic tool maintenance. The role reports to management and requires accuracy, organization, and adherence to procedures.

Responsibilities include issuing tools, stocking, tracking, and conducting quarterly inventories while maintaining records. A high school diploma or GED and basic computer skills are required; ability to obtain a U.S.

Qualifications

• Must have High School diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Related experience with inventory control preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide tools and equipment to employees from the tool crib.
• Scan RFID tags and employee badges for traceability.
• Restock tools as returned and verify tool locations.
• Perform quarterly inventory on long-term tools and inspect for defects.
• Maintain and update tool assignment cards and records.
• Assist with kitting of toolboxes and tool repairs as needed.
