Job summary

Arcosa Wind Towers, Inc. is seeking a Toolroom Attendant to manage tool distribution, maintenance, and basic inventory tasks in a manufacturing setting. The role involves handling tools, parts and consumables, logging usage, and supporting safety initiatives on the plant floor.

You will learn the parts inventory system, maintain daily spreadsheets, and coordinate with purchasing to restock items. Forklift operation and weekend/shift coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to operate computer systems at an appropriate level.
• Read, write and speak proficient English.
• Organized and detail oriented.

Arcosa Wind Towersis now hiring a Toolroom Attendant.As the Toolroom Attendant you must be familiar with tools and consumables. Can hand out and receive both tools and parts. Knowledgeable in repairing tools. Ability to order consumables and tools and to maintain a log of distribution.

What you’ll do:

• Locate and distribute tools as requested.
• Clean tools and equipment on return.
• Learn parts inventory system.
• Maintain spreadsheet of daily inventory usage.
• Alert purchasing once inventory reaches minimum level.
• Distribute tools, parts and consumables.
• Order consumables, tools and parts and maintain a log of distribution.
• Follow rules and practices of work safety.
• May be involved in safety committee.
• Perform other duties as assigned,
• May be required to operate forklift and local delivery vehicle.

• Experience: 1 Year

• Technical Skills: The ability to operate computer system at appropriate level

Working Conditions:

• Work environment includes plant, warehouse, production and non-production areas and plant grounds.
• This position may require work/maintenance coverage beyond the normal hours, shift, and on weekends/holidays
• Ability to tolerate both high and low temperatures, loud noises typical of a manufacturing plant

• Be aware of and observe all safety practices. Including but not limited to- Safety glasses, safety boots, hearing protection, etc… as required
• Know and follow all safety rules and procedures.
