Job summary

EFP, LLC. seeks a Launch Coordinator to lead programs from mold tool delivery through production launch, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality and cost targets. You will coordinate tool validation, trials, and PPAP submissions while collaborating with Operations and Engineering.

You will manage schedules, communicate changes to stakeholders, and maintain launch readiness across tooling, materials, and documentation to achieve successful customer launches.

Qualifications

• Requires an engineering/manufacturing/quality background with project coordination experience.
• Experience coordinating schedules, action items, or cross-functional activities in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of automotive/production launch processes and APQP/PPAP tools.
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and CAD models.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tooling launch activities from receipt at the plant through production implementation.
• Assist with customer and internal communications after contract award and track action items.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities among Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement, Operations, and suppliers.
• Oversee tool validation, fixtures, and manufacturing equipment to support production.
• Plan and execute tooling trials with operations to meet production requirements and safety standards.
• Support PPAP documentation and approval processes to final acceptance.
