Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered.
• 7+ years of Project Management experience in tool & die, metal stamping, injection molding, machining, automotive or precision manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of tooling construction, manufacturing processes, and production launches.
• Experience reading engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Project.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple tooling and manufacturing projects from quote handoff to final customer approval.
• Develop and maintain timelines, milestones, budgets, and deliverables.
• Coordinate activities between customers, engineering, manufacturing, quality, purchasing, and suppliers.
• Lead project kickoff meetings and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
• Monitor tooling build progress, tryouts, sample runs, and production launches.
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions to prevent delays or cost overruns.
• Review engineering drawings, tool designs, change requests, and customer specifications.
• Track engineering changes, tooling modifications, and launch requirements.
• Support customer communication regarding schedules, quality concerns, and program updates.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and customer-specific requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, reports, and records.
