Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. in Kansas is seeking experienced toolmakers and leaders to join its manufacturing workforce.

The role requires 2nd or 3rd shift work, with 5+ years in tooling or related manufacturing environments and proven ability to operate in a team-oriented production setting. You will contribute to safety, tool readiness, and cross-functional coordination while supporting continuous process and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Ability and desire to work a 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift position.
• 5+ years of tooling or related manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years of required skills in related manufacturing environments.

Overview

This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit's Commercial Business Units (\"Spirit Commercial\"). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing's three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial's core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• Ability and desire to work a 2nd Shift or 3rd Shift position
• 5+ years of tooling or related manufacturing experience either in a hands-on or a leadership role
• 5 + years of required skills in related manufacturing environments (such as those listed below as preferred).

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 5+ years’ experience Tooling or related manufacturing experience ie: Fabrication/Rework/Support Shops including Machine Fab, Jig Fab, Tool and Die and Composite Tooling
• Basic Computing Skills.

Summary Pay Range: $77,950 - 119,500
