The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering and 5–10 years in a manufacturing setting, with strong CAD/SolidWorks skills and a track record of leading tooling

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Five to ten years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong background in injection molding processes and mold design.
• Experience managing tooling, mold-building, and manufacturing improvement projects; CAD/ SolidWorks proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Lead quoting activities for new product launches, tooling projects, and manufacturing initiatives with accurate cost estimates.
• Manage mold build projects from concept through final completion, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Review mold designs and provide recommendations on design improvements and manufacturability.
• Provide engineering support to toolroom and molding operations by troubleshooting tooling and production issues.
• Design, implement, and optimize tooling solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality.
• Drive continuous improvement focused on product quality and cost reduction.
• Participate in design reviews, automation planning, and production readiness assessments.
• Collaborate with internal departments, customers, suppliers, and vendors on engineering and tooling projects.
• Assist in resolving customer concerns and tooling and production challenges.
