Charter Medical is seeking a Tooling Engineer to design, develop, and maintain tooling, dies, molds, and fixtures to improve manufacturing efficiency and quality. You will create CAD models, troubleshoot tool failures, and manage vendor relations to ensure on-time, cost-effective tooling solutions.
The role requires a Bachelor's in Engineering and 3–5 years of tool design experience, plus proficiency in Fusion 360, SolidWorks, Minitab, and ERP/eQMS familiarity.
The Tooling Engineer designs, develops, and maintains specialized tools, dies, molds, and fixtures to optimize manufacturing production efficiency and quality. This role will create CAD models, troubleshoot tool failures, and manage vendor relationships and machinist relationship to ensure robust, on-time, and cost - effective tooling solutions. Additionally, this role takes ownership of projects from start to completion, for new tooling as well as existing tools.
