Job summary

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Industry experience.
• Injection Mold design and molding experience (High Cavitation).
• 5-10 years experience with a degree.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• Effective communications with internal and external contacts.
• Motivated, analytical problem solver, able to work with minimum supervision.
• Knowledge and experience of CAD and/or SolidWorks systems.
• Attention to detail and quality.

Responsibilities

• Quoting of new product and product/process improvement.
• Project management including capital, schedule, product economics and providing quotations to sales for mold related projects.
• Review mold designs and provide expert analysis regarding design, material selection and mold functionality.
• Provide engineering support to the mold/tool room.
• Initiate and execute product process and quality improvements for engineering department goals.
• Participate in reviews (product design, mold design, automation design) to assure goals are met.
• Interface with internal departments, customers, and vendors to accomplish projects.
• Contribute to resolution of customer complaints as necessary.
