Job summary

Kaygen, Inc. seeks an engineer to drive process planning, machine specification creation, and tooling procurement for automotive manufacturing projects. You will manage installation, trials, quality analysis, and continuous improvement while coordinating with vendors and internal teams.

The role requires hands-on engineering, robotics experience, and proficiency with Catia and Carrot3; travel to vendors and sites is expected.

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and shutdown periods for tooling projects.
• Willingness to travel to support vendor locations and manufacturing sites.
• Strong computer modeling experience using Catia and Carrot3.

Requirements:

• Ability to travel to support work at machine vendors, manufacturing locations
• Strong computer (Catia / Carrot3) modeling Experience

Required Skills:

• 1-2 yrs Automotive/Manufacturing Hands on Engineering Experience.
• 1-2 yrs Tooling Design, tooling procurement / jigs and weld tool experience
• 1-2 yrs Automotive or Body Welding Experience, new equipment procurement, new product launch
• 1-2 yrs Robotic Experience
• 1-2 yrs AGV Auto Guided Vehicle Experience
