Job summary

Staffmark Group is seeking a motivated Tooling Coordinator / Tooling Technician to support tooling operations in Arcadia, LA. This role works closely with the Tooling Engineer to maintain tooling inventory, track usage, and support continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, with preferred associate or bachelor’s in engineering-related fields.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing Technology, or related field preferred.
• Experience with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar design software preferred.
• Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain tooling inventory to support production requirements.
• Track tool usage, tool life, and inventory records.
• Assist with evaluating tooling and recommending improvements.
• Maintain tooling databases, drawings, and documentation.
• Convert paper drawings into electronic formats.
• Support tooling design, engineering projects, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Assist with tooling setup, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Work with manufacturing teams to ensure tooling availability and efficiency.
• Analyze tooling and production data to identify process improvements.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and cost-reduction projects.

Salary: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

We are seeking a motivated Tooling Coordinator / Tooling Technician to support tooling operations within a manufacturing facility. Working closely with the Tooling Engineer, this role helps maintain tooling inventory, supports production operations, manages documentation, and assists with continuous improvement projects. Education Requirements
