Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Detroit, MI, is seeking a Buyer to manage requisitions and tooling orders within the P2P process. You will review and process requisitions and POs, coordinate with suppliers, and update POs with design changes as needed.

Responsibilities include supporting quotes and bids for non-contract items, leading administrative procurement tasks, monitoring contract/PO lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with company policies.

Qualifications

• Required: bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business, or related field.
• Experience reviewing requisitions and purchase orders (POs) and updating POs with design changes.
• Ability to resolve routine supplier issues such as past-due POs and invoice mismatches.

Responsibilities

• Reviews and processes requisitions/POs and places tool orders.
• Initiates PPAP requests and updates POs with design changes as needed.
• Coordinates with suppliers to resolve routine issues (past-due POs, freight charges, discrepancies).
• Supports quotations and bid evaluations for items above the bid threshold not under contract.
• Leads administrative procurement activities and supports strategic purchasing.
• Monitors contract/PO life-cycle and ensures compliance with policies.
