Job summary

North American Stamping Group (NASG) offers an apprenticeship-style Tool Maker training track. Trainees will learn preventative maintenance, tooling repair, and fixture modifications while attending classroom and shop-floor sessions.

The program includes healthcare after 30 days, a 401(k), paid holidays, and a $1000 sign-on bonus, with overtime opportunities as needed and potential for skill-based advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must complete accredited NASG training curriculum.
• Willing to learn CNC programming and operation.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Preventative maintenance and tool repairs to ensure production readiness.
• Interpret prints for tooling modifications and improvements.
• Work with Engineers to create or modify prints reflecting changes.
• Maintain clean work areas, tool room, and safety compliance.
• Be available for overtime and training as required.
• Lead by example and support continuous improvement.
