Job summary

GF Casting Solutions seeks a skilled metalworking technician in Augusta, GA to perform repairs on die-casting tools and molds and to conduct preventive maintenance on die-casting equipment.

You will implement optimization measures, assemble and disassemble mold inserts, and handle on-site repairs in the foundry environment, ensuring safe transport of molds.

The role requires formal training in a metalworking trade, forklift and crane certifications, and welding proficiency (TIG and electrode).

Qualifications

• Formal training in a metalworking trade is required.
• Forklift certification is required.
• Crane operation certification is required.
• Proficiency in welding techniques, including TIG and electrode welding, is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs on die-casting tools and molds.
