Qualifications

• Die setting, troubleshooting, and repair methods.

• Several years of hands-on toolmaking or die maintenance experience.
• Previous supervisory or lead experience in tool room or machine shop.
• Ability to read blueprints, GD&T, and tooling drawings.
• Experience with manual lathes, mills, grinders, and CNC equipment.
• Familiarity with CAD software for reviewing or modifying tooling designs.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and 5S practices.
• Experience with preventive maintenance tracking systems.
• Apprenticeship or journeyman toolmaker certification.
• Experience with progressive dies or injection molds.
