Textron Aviation is hiring for a Tool Preparer on the 2nd shift in Wichita, KS. You will ensure production tools are clean and ready for use, contributing to efficiency and quality in our manufacturing environment.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, the ability to stand for long periods, and general knowledge of tools. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package and opportunities for growth within the Textron Aviation team.

Responsabilités

• Tool Preparation: Prepare tools and fixtures by sanding, scraping, washing, and applying parting agents
• Tool Maintenance: Inspect returned tools, perform minor repairs, and move tools needing repair to the appropriate area
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records to track the status of tool fixtures
• Tool Handling: Ensure proper handling, storage, and timely movement of tools to scheduled areas
• Part De-bagging: Remove parts from packaging and bags as needed

We are hiring immediately for a Tool Preparer
What you will be doing as a Tool Preparer:
In this role, you will ensure our production tools are clean and ready for use. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining our high standards of efficiency and quality. Play a crucial role in creating the future of flight and join the best in the business.
Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

• Tool Preparation: Prepare tools and fixtures by sanding, scraping, washing, and applying parting agents
• Tool Maintenance: Inspect returned tools, perform minor repairs, and move tools needing repair to the appropriate area
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records to track the status of tool fixtures
• Tool Handling: Ensure proper handling, storage, and timely movement of tools to scheduled areas
