All Aviation Jobs is looking for a Tool and Parts Attendant to support the Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center by handling tool receipt, storage, issuance, and inventory control of government-furnished tools and TMDE. The role includes coordinating calibration, maintaining records, and ensuring compliance with safety and aviation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English fluently.
• Minimum 1 year as Tool and Parts Attendant using a perpetual inventory system or 2 years with aviation tool control systems.
• Knowledge of common tool control software systems.
• Proficiency with PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to work with maintenance personnel.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a contractor-certified forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Issue, receive, and account for tools, equipment, TMDE, shop supplies, and parts using tool control software.
• Maintain accurate real-time inventory records and accountability for government-furnished tools and equipment.
• Conduct inventories and reconcile discrepancies promptly.
• Identify, tag, and mark tools and calibrated equipment.
• Inspect tools/TMDE for wear or calibration status and coordinate repairs or calibration.
• Track calibration schedules and prepare tools for calibration.
• Prepare and submit DMRS for tool replenishment and maintain documentation.
• Assist customers in identifying appropriate tools and substitutes as needed.
• Perform minor tool repairs when feasible.
