Job summary

MW Components, Inc. in Maryland seeks a skilled machinist to set up and operate four-slide and multi-slide centers for straight cut dies used in springs and wire forms.

You will perform first piece and in-process inspection, maintain tooling, and work with the Production Work Group to resolve issues and minimize disruption. The role requires reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and maintaining quality to specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Four-slide or multi-slide experience; vocational training or apprenticeship helpful.
• Knowledge of CNC programming is beneficial.
• Exposure to AutoCAD or Mastercam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain four-slide or multi-slide machines for straight cut.
• Perform first piece and in-process inspection to ensure tolerances.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow maintenance schedules.
• Verify dimensions and conduct tool/die tests to ensure specs.
