GKN Aerospace in Cromwell, CT, is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to support manufacturing by performing preventative maintenance, tool repair, and light machining. You will disassemble, clean, assemble, and test injection units, assist floor technicians, and help resolve tooling issues while upholding quality and safety standards.

Provides support to maintenance and/or machining depending on schedule requirements. Individual will participate in preventative maintenance and tool repair with multiple responsibilities of servicing injection units, providing assistance to machining, and general labor. Perform mechanical disassembly, troubleshoot, cleaning, assembly, drilling, tapping, grinding, preventative maintenance, and general labor. May work with engineering to resolve problems and participate in continuous improvement. Refers unusual situations to working leader/supervisor.
