Job summary

WORLD WIDE PROFESSIONAL SOLUTIONS is a project solutions organization supporting large capital projects with scheduling and management expertise. They seek a Tool Install Design Manager for a major semiconductor project in Peoria, Arizona, to lead design activities for tool installation and site interfaces.

The role requires coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing design deliverables, and ensuring alignment with aggressive installation schedules; relocation to the project site is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or commensurate technical experience required.
• 10+ years in engineering/design management, or related project delivery roles.
• Semiconductor facility/tool install experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and integrate engineering and design activities for semiconductor tool installation and hook up.
• Coordinate tool-specific design requirements between manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Manage design interfaces with base build infrastructure including cleanroom and utilities.
• Drive cross-functional coordination to resolve clashes and scope boundaries before field installation.
• Support tool move-in, setting, hook up, qualification, and commissioning milestones.
• Lead change management for evolving tool requirements and procurement impacts.
• Resolve RFIs and design conflicts affecting tool installation.
• Interface with client engineering and external designers for tool install deliverables.
• Develop scope of work and RFPs as required.
