Job summary

Jacobs seeks a Tool Install Construction Coordinator (Superintendent) to lead field coordination for semiconductor tool installs within a wafer fabrication environment. This is an on-site, client-site role requiring Monday–Friday hours and occasional Saturdays at the Manassas site.

You will work with trades, A&E teams and client stakeholders to meet schedules, maintain safety, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of construction experience in the semiconductor industry, focused on tool install and progressive build scopes of work.
• Construction Management or Engineering degrees highly encouraged.
• Experience coordinating field activities with trades contractors to meet client schedule and deliverables.
• Experience in client-facing roles, managing client expectations and needs.
• Experience managing semiconductor tool install scopes of work.
• Familiarity with A&E firms, reading and interpreting design packages for tool hookups.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Forward thinking and ability to learn and contribute innovations.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with cross-matrix teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate tool install activities on the client site to meet project milestones.
• Liaise with trades contractors, vendors, and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Monitor safety, quality, and compliance during field operations.
• Manage client expectations and communicate progress and risk.
• Assist in planning and coordinating with A&E firms for tool hookups.

Tool Install Construction Coordinator (Superintendent)

Construction Superintendent with a background in semiconductor tool install coordination. Candidate will have experience performing construction coordination within an operating wafer manufacturing facility.

Additional Details

• This is an on-site position requiring work to be performed on the client site located in Manassas, VA
• Candidate must be onsite Monday–Friday during core hours (600 a.m.–400 p.m.), with some flexibility to work Saturdays when needed.
• Requires field mobility including walking long distances, climbing ladders, working in tight spaces, and lifting up to 25 lbs
• Must pass background check and drug screening and be fully authorized to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship).

The base salary range for this position is $110,000.00 to $140,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
