Job summary

Total Tool in Saint Paul, MN is seeking a Tool & Equipment Mechanic to diagnose and repair a wide range of tools and equipment, from electrical and battery-powered devices to gas equipment and generators.

You will determine replacement parts, test repairs, and communicate with customers while maintaining a clean, safe workspace. This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule and a benefits package including PTO, holidays, and health coverage.

Qualifications

• Experience working on small engines and/or tool repair.
• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and take initiative.
• An exceptional work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, battery-powered, hydraulic, pneumatic tools, gas equipment, generators, and other power tools.
• Determine replacement parts to efficiently repair equipment.
• Test repaired equipment once completed.
• Provide high-quality repairs and demonstrate urgency to complete them.
• Communicate effectively with both internal and external customers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
