Job summary

Thai Summit America in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Tool & Die Lead to drive top-priority projects and support manufacturing goals.

You will implement department processes, mentor skilled trades technicians, coordinate ECNs and die repair activities, and ensure safe, efficient operations across shifts. Strong leadership, planning, and communication are essential to deliver results that delight customers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3–5 years in Tool & Die activities with demonstrated leadership.
• Tool & Die skills as outlined for Die Finishers.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Excellent work performance history and reliability.
• Ability to plan and resolve tooling construction and production issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead priority projects and support department goals.
• Train Tool & Die technicians and set a positive example.
• Coordinate ECN, project launches, and die repairs.
• Facilitate communication between shifts and departments.
• Assist in die repair projects and tooling trials.
• Attend Tool & Die department meetings and planning sessions.
• Maintain safety, housekeeping, and workplace improvement.
