Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. in Brecksville, OH is seeking an experienced Mold/Mold Maker to build molds/dies with standard techniques and tight tolerances. You will lead concurrent projects and interpret blueprints to plan die/mold processes.

Responsibilities include operating Bridgeport, grinders, saws, EDM, and collaborating with Engineering. Requires a HS diploma or GED and 5+ years in tool/mold making; state journeyman papers or 8+ years shop experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in tool making or mold making, with blueprinted plans interpreted accurately.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds and handle manual tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret design blueprints and GD&T where applicable.
• Proven ability to work within a die making team and communicate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead construction of several products concurrently.
• Interpret design blueprints to determine die/mold making plan.
• Operate with very close tolerances and inspect own work.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Programming during manufacturing.
• Operate equipment: Bridge Port, Grinders, Saws, EDM.
• Adhere to EHS, Quality, and HR standards.
