Qualifications

• Must possess Journeyman Tool and Die Maker card or DOL apprenticeship; or 8 years of proven Tool and Die Maker experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings with precision.
• Experience with large deep drawn stamping dies; resistance welding is a plus.
• Able to set up and operate all tool room equipment and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Builds and repairs dies, tooling, and fixtures per blueprints and sketches.
• Operates lathes, milling machines, shapers, and grinders to machine parts.
• Perform preventative maintenance and keep work area clean and safe.
• Observe finished parts in assembly and adjust as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.
