Job summary

CRH is looking for a CNC Machinist at Oldcastle facilities. You will operate manual machines and CNC mills, set up dies and tooling, and repair tooling to support 24/7 production.

Responsibilities include adjusting processes for efficiency, updating logs, and working in a team across 1st-3rd shifts with overtime as required. Technical schooling and CNC experience, plus SolidWorks familiarity, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Min. 4 years machine shop with CNC equipment experience.
• Technical School Degree or Apprentice Certificate.
• Familiar with SolidWorks.
• Ability to program wire EDM and horizontal mills with DP Esprit software.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adjust processes to ensure machines are running efficiently.
• Update time logs.
• Set-up and run wire EDM and/or CNC mills.
• Manufacture new parts for dies, sizers, and punch tooling etc.
• Repair of damaged tooling.
• Repair of damaged mechanical equipment for all departments.
• Work in a team atmosphere.
• Available to work 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and overtime as needed.
• Maintain a neat and orderly work environment.
• Operate manual machine shop equipment, lathes, surface grinders and mills.
• Support production needs to maintain 24/7 schedule.

Job Summary

Responsible for manufacturing dies and sizing systems from print to production using both manual, CNC Wire EDM, and CNC milling machines.
