Job summary

Nbutexas in Laotto, IN is seeking a Tool & Die Maker to build precision tools, dies, fixtures, and molds. You will read blueprints, operate manual mills, lathes, and grinders, and maintain tight tolerances with skilled craftsmanship.

This on-site role includes apprenticeship and ongoing development opportunities, a day shift 7 AM–3:30 PM, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of experience using manual mills, lathes, and surface grinders.
• Strong blueprint reading and technical drawing interpretation skills.
• Experience with precision measuring equipment.
• Excellent mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models.
• Build, repair, and maintain precision tools, dies, molds, fixtures, jigs, and gauges.
• Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other precision machining equipment.
• Assemble, fit, and adjust tooling components to exact specifications.
• Test completed tooling to ensure quality, accuracy, and performance.
• Modify existing tooling to improve functionality or support engineering changes.
• Inspect finished work using precision measuring instruments.
• Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

Tool & Die Maker Compensation & Benefits

• $26 to $38 - based on experience

Tool & Die Maker

Required Qualifications
