Job Description

Larsen Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Tool & Die Maker to build and maintain a wide range of progressive, compound, and secondary dies. The ideal candidate will be able to prioritize and manage existing tooling jobs and support production operations effectively. This is a 1st Shift position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week, with overtime available as needed. This role reports directly to the Tool Room Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Build and troubleshoot new tooling per design requirements
  • Modify existing tooling to meet customer changes and specifications
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair tooling to ensure uninterrupted production
  • Perform changeovers on multi-part tooling setups
  • Support various departments and divisions with tooling requirements
  • Communicate job status regularly with the department manager
  • Effectively manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Contribute to team efforts and overall production success as needed
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma required; TMA certification or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of tool and die experience in a manufacturing setting
  • Proficiency in safe and efficient operation of tool room equipment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage workload
  • Willingness to work overtime as required
