Job summary

New England Precision, Inc., located in Randolph, Vermont, is seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker (Class A or Class B) to join our manufacturing team.

This role involves troubleshooting and maintaining progressive dies, collaborating with production to minimize downtime, and upholding safety and quality standards. Candidates should have Class A/B certification and relevant experience in toolmaking.

Qualifications

• Class A or Class B Tool Maker certification.
• 2–5 years of experience in tool and die maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of progressive die construction, function, and repair.
• Experience operating standard toolroom and machining equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.

Located in Randolph, Vermont, New England Precision is a precision metal stamping company specializing in brass and copper stampings. We are currently seeking a skilled Tool & Die Maker (Class A or Class B) to join our team.

Position: Tool & Die Maker (Class A or Class B)

Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Availability

Pay: Competitive Wages at or above industry standard & based on experience

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain progressive dies used in metal stamping operations.
• Work closely with production personnel to resolve tooling-related downtime and quality concerns.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and tooling documentation.
• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Class A or Class B Tool Maker certification.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in tool and die maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of progressive die construction, function, and repair.
• Experience operating standard toolroom and machining equipment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to safely maneuver, position, and work with heavy die sets on workbenches and tooling equipment.
