Responsibilities

• Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts using measuring instruments.
• Set up and operate conventional or CNC machine tools to cut or grind parts.
• Fit and assemble parts to create or repair dies and tools.
• File, grind, shim, and adjust parts for proper fitting.
• Measure and lay out machining using instruments.
• Compute dimensions and tolerances based on specifications.
