Job summary

• A successfully completed technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent technician training.
• Several years of professional experience in equipment design, progressive die/forming tools, and punching tools is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of common 3D CAD systems; ideally practical experience with Solid Edge and 3D printing processes.
• Proficiency with MS Office.

• Development and design of forming tools, stamping/progressive dies, fixtures, and other equipment
• Independently creating design drawings, assembly diagrams, and process plans, as well as tool designs and production-ready individual part drawings
• Supporting project management and sales in preparing quotes, conducting feasibility analyses, and performing tool cost calculations
• Close collaboration with the Process Planning department
• Supporting series production in the event of malfunctions
• Assisting the manufacturing department with tool setups
• Preparing for investments in tools and fixtures, including the creation of specifications
• Managing the 3D printer

What we require from you

• A successfully completed technical degree in mechanical engineering or, alternatively, successful completion of further training to become a technician, preferably at a sheet metal processing company
• Several years of professional experience in the design of equipment, progressive die/forming tools, and punching tools is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of common 3D CAD systems; ideally, practical experience with Solid Edge and 3D printing processes
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Technical understanding and enthusiasm for challenging tasks, as well as a high degree of flexibility, commitment, and the ability to work well in a team
• A solution-oriented, independent, and methodical approach to work, as well as a confident demeanor
• Good command of German and English
