Job summary

Lexicon is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant in Monroe, LA. This role ensures all tools are properly issued and maintained, and supports safety regulatory compliance on site.

You will organize the tool crib, issue items to employees, and maintain accurate sign-in/out and purchase order records. Overtime and reliable attendance are required for this safety-sensitive position.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have good organizational and communication skills.

• Issue tools, expendable items, etc. to employees.
• Maintain documentation including: daily sign in/out sheets, order forms to be turned in to management for purchasing, daily inspection and maintenance forms.

• The ability to work overtime and regular, punctual attendance is required.

Position Summary

The Tool Crib Attendant is responsible for ensuring all tools are properly issued and maintained. This position is deemed ‘safety sensitive’ due to the fact that a person improperly performing the essential or marginal functions of the job would constitute a threat to the health or safety of the employee, the employee’s co-workers, and/or the public at large.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Physical Demands

Requires discretionary sitting, standing and walking. Must be able to lift in excess of 40 pounds on occasion. Requires frequent bending, stooping, twisting, crouching, etc. Weekend work and overtime required. Exposure to temperature fluctuations and noisy work environment.
