KBR, Inc. at Fort Hood seeks a Tool and Parts Attendant to join the Aviation Maintenance Team supporting AH-64E and CH-47F operations. You will issue gauges and tools, manage AGSE, and help keep flight operations on schedule in a demanding hangar environment.

This role requires a High School diploma, 2+ years in military aviation or tool room, and a Texas driver’s license. You’ll work day, mid, and night shifts, handle calibration programs, and use systems like ACN, TMDE, and GCSS-Army.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Sets, maintains, and issues gauges, tools, and measuring instruments for use by manufacturing and to inspect in-process and final machined parts.
  • Forecasts, requests, processes, issues, stocks, and turns in special tools for aircraft and AGSE.
  • Uses the Aircraft Notebook System (ACN) to manage all tools.
  • Ensures items requiring calibration are enrolled in a comprehensive calibration program in accordance with Army Regulations, DA Pamphlets, Training Bulletins, and Technical Circulars.
  • Manages the TMDE system and coordinates calibration schedule with local TMDE facility.
  • Notifies Lead Tool and Parts Attendant of any delays in performance.
  • Maintains accountability of all items tracked within TMRS.
  • Works shifts (day, mid, night) in an Aviation Hangar at West Fort Hood.
  • Candidates exposed to extreme weather conditions and loud noises.

Job Summary

At KBR/Fort Hood, we’re seeking a driven Tool and Parts Attendant candidate to join our Aviation Maintenance Team to help support Aviation Flight Operations and Aircraft Maintenance Operations. Your contributions will be instrumental in efficiently executing aircraft maintenance on the AH-64E and CH-47F Rotary Wing Aircraft to include the associated Aviation Ground Support Equipment (AGSE). Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work involves working shifts (day shift, mid shift, and late shift).
  • Work is completed in an Aviation Hangar at West Fort Hood
  • Candidates will be exposed to extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, and rain) and will be subject to loud noises and dust.
Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma
  • 2- years’ experience (Military Aviation or Tool Room Management, or Aviation Stock Clerk)
  • Must have a Texas Driver’s License
  • Must be able to communicate succinctly with customers and client
  • No clearance required
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds or more
  • Must be on a shift schedule involving day shift, mid-shift, and night shift
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiar with TRMS
  • Familiar with TMDE program
  • Knowledge of Army Maintenance Management Systems such as GCSS-Army.
  • Experience supporting AH-64E Apache and CH-47F Chinook aircraft maintenance operations.
