Job summary

Mancan is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for a local company in Mansfield, OH. You will build and maintain stamping dies, fabricate tooling components, and operate heat treatment and finishing equipment to boost durability.

Work with engineers to troubleshoot and improve tooling performance, while keeping meticulous records of tooling and maintenance histories. First shift with potential OT; starting pay $28.00/hour.

Qualifications

• 4 year apprenticeship program.
• Blueprint skills required.
• Precision machining experience (manual and CNC).
• CAD/CAM software proficiency.
• Mathematics including trigonometry and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to build and maintain stamping dies.
• Fabricate dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges from raw materials using manual and CNC tools.
• Operate heat treatment and surface finishing equipment to enhance tool durability.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve tooling performance.

Mancan is seeking a Tool and Die Maker for a local company in Mansfield, OH.

Key Responsibilities

• Must be able to build and maintain stamping dies
• Fabricate dies, molds, jigs, fixtures, and gauges from raw materials using manual and CNC machine tools such as lathes, mills, grinders, EDM, and wire EDM
• Operate heat treatment and surface finishing equipment to enhance tool durability.
• Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot issues and improve tooling performance
• Maintain organized records of tooling, repair history, and preventive maintenance schedules

Hours / Pay

1st shift- 7am-3:30pm. Monday-Friday with possible OT.
