Job summary

The Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission seeks a Supervisor, Toll Systems Infrastructure & Field Operations to lead civil installation, rehabilitation, and maintenance of toll systems. You will supervise field activities, prioritize work orders, inspect facilities, and coordinate with internal departments and contractors.

This role requires eight years of inspection/quality assurance experience (or four years plus a bachelor’s), ACI certification, a valid driver’s license, and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Eight (8) years of experience in construction inspection/quality assurance OR
• Four (4) years of experience and a bachelor’s degree; equivalent combinations accepted.
• Possession of an ACI certification or equivalent concrete certification is required.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to obtain Pennsylvania license within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates civil installation, rehabilitation, and maintenance of toll systems.
• Plans work, inspects toll facilities, and ensures compliance with contracts and standards.
• Liaisons between contractors and internal staff for escalated issues.
• Monitors daily reports, ensures safe operations, and supervises project progress.
• Reviews plans, approves work authorizations, and oversees safety and quality controls.
