Job summary

Northstar Preschools in Haslet, TX is seeking a dedicated Two's/Toddler Teacher to support early childhood development in a nurturing classroom. You will implement age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe environment, and partner with families to track each child's growth.

You should have a high school diploma or GED, 2 years of experience with infants and toddlers, and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two years’ experience with infants and toddlers in a childcare setting.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
• Pass background check and meet state licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Create a nurturing and safe learning environment for children.
• Plan and implement age-appropriate activities promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Collaborate with parents and colleagues to ensure a holistic learning experience.
• Foster a love of learning through engaging and interactive lesson plans.

• Communicate with parents regarding child progress, concerns, and milestones.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting learning space.
• Follow all school policies, safety procedures, and licensing regulations.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events.
