The Goddard School located in Collegeville, PA is seeking a caring, energetic Toddler Teacher to join our team. You will nurture development and guide toddlers through language, independence and social milestones in a warm, safe classroom environment.

You’ll plan developmentally appropriate activities, collaborate with a teaching team, and utilize Goddard’s curriculum while bringing your creativity to lessons. Our school offers growth opportunities and commitment to staff development.

Formación

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CDA credential is a plus and supports classroom guidance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in creating and implementing age-appropriate lesson plans using a blend of Goddard's curriculum and your creativity.
• Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development.
• Prepare classroom materials and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Supervise and provide individualized support to children.
• Communicate with parents about their child’s progress and activities.
• Adhere to health and safety guidelines.
• Support routine child care tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment.

The toddler years are an exciting time of incredible growth. Children are developing language, building independence, forming friendships and discovering something new every day. As a Toddler Teacher, you’ll help create a warm, engaging classroom where children feel safe, supported and excited to explore the world around them.

You’ll work alongside a collaborative teaching team to plan fun, developmentally appropriate activities, establish positive classroom routines and celebrate all of those important toddler milestones — from new words and growing confidence to learning how to share, communicate and do things ‘all by myself!’

And you won’t have to create everything from scratch! Our teachers have access to Goddard’s proprietary curriculum, lesson ideas and educational resources to help guide classroom learning, while still having the freedom to bring their own creativity, interests and teaching style into their lessons. We want our teachers to feel supported with great resources while having the flexibility to make learning engaging and meaningful for the children in their classroom.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred
• Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
• CDA
• Shows empathy and compassion for young children
• Works productively without supervision
• Basic understanding of child development
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
