Job summary

Kids in Motion Academy in Georgia seeks a passionate Toddler Lead Teacher to plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities, supervise toddlers, and collaborate with families to support growth and safety.

The role requires CDA/TCC/Associate’s in ECE (or higher), at least 1 year of toddler experience, CPR/First Aid, and a background check. Competitive pay and benefits accompany this opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience working with toddlers in a licensed childcare setting.
• Strong classroom management and communication skills.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check and meet Bright from the Start requirements.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with GELDS.
• Create a warm, safe, and nurturing classroom environment.
• Supervise and engage children throughout the day while ensuring their safety.
• Conduct daily observations, assessments, and required documentation.
• Maintain open and professional communication with families regarding their child’s progress and daily activities.
• Ensure compliance with Bright from the Start licensing regulations and Kids in Motion Academy policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom.
• Work collaboratively with assistant teachers and administration.
• Attend staff meetings, professional development, and required training.
• Model professionalism, teamwork, and positive interactions with children, families, and coworkers.
