Job summary

Bright Horizons Children's Centers is seeking a Child Care Teacher for the Toddler classroom at our JPMC Fountain Square location in Tampa, FL. This full-time role offers 7:30 am to 6:00 pm with four 10-hour shifts and a path to pursue a CDA or college degree at no cost.

You will create hands-on activities, communicate with families about milestones, and keep a safe, engaging classroom environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Related college-level early education coursework or CDA is required.
• 1 year of professional experience teaching in child care, daycare, or preschool settings is preferred.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in early education or related field is preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) is required.
• Florida Care Provider Clearinghouse Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Create hands-on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
• Maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily milestones.
• Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
