Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Union KY is seeking a Toddler Teacher Assistant to support teachers and families, providing a home away from home for children from 6 weeks to 12 years, following NAEYC guidelines.

You will assist with instruction, help decorate classrooms, maintain a warm, clean environment, and communicate with parents about their child. No evenings or weekends; paid training on procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and remain organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers with instruction in the classroom.
• Help maintain a warm, safe, and clean learning environment.
• Supervise and ensure safety of children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
• Decorate classrooms and prepare hands-on activities.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians about their child.
