Come join us! Alcuin School now has an opening for a Toddler Assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. We are looking for an individual who meets the following criteria.
The Toddler Assistant assists in maintaining the prepared environment, supports the work of the Toddler Guide, and works collaboratively with the Guide to support each student’s optimal growth and development.
The Toddler Assistant is responsible for maintaining the required Minimum Standards and Guidelines for state childcare licensing, assisting in preparing and maintaining the classroom environment per AMI standards, supporting the work of the Toddler Guide in the classroom, and working collaboratively with the Guide to support each child in reaching his/her full potential. This position supports a lead worker and the two work together to nurture the development of the children in the classroom. This position interacts directly with students and parents, closely with the Director of Toddler, and occasionally with the Health Office.

Pay is based on experience and is competitive with Independent Schools in the Dallas, Texas area.
Generally, Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 1:30 pm. There will be some afternoon work for events and professional development opportunities. Federal holidays, spring break, and summers off.
