Job summary

Oregano's is hiring To-Go Cashiers and To-Go Specialists to join our fast-paced team. You will manage POS transactions and phones, balance dine-in and carryout orders, and deliver friendly, efficient service to guests.

In this role, you will promote offers, prepare carry-out orders, and assist guests both in person and by phone, helping to ensure order accuracy and guest satisfaction in a busy environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in quick-service restaurant cashiering is preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Certified in state food safety and handling.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

To-Go (Cashier) Duties

• Efficiently manage point of sale (POS) system and phones while balancing dine-in and takeout orders.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment.
• Build lasting relationships with guests through friendly interactions.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to guarantee order accuracy and speed.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

To-Go (Cashier) Requirements

• Quick-service restaurant cashiering experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Valid state-issued food safety and handling certification.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
