Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Good interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements, when applicable, to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Exhibit behaviors aligned with Food Lion values and strategy.
• Assist with multi-order shopping using designated tools.
• Recognize differences between produce varieties.
• Scan, bag, and label purchases accurately.
• Verify IDs for alcohol sales per policy.
• Assist customers with order pickups.
• Complete Accountability Form from end to end process.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow uniform and dress code policy.
• Help control store expenses with supplies usage.
• Adhere to company guidelines and safety standards.
• Notify QA of cleaning or maintenance needs for To-Go area.
• Complete CBT and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
