Job summary

IHOP Take-Out Specialist is responsible for all carry-out services, including greeting guests at pickup and curbside areas and handling To-Go orders. Emphasis on safe food handling, sanitation, and strong communication as part of a team.

Role focuses on taking and packaging To-Go orders, delivering them promptly, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences. Flexible shifts and opportunities for advancement are highlighted in the benefits package.

Qualifications

• Prior experience handling prepared and packaged food is a plus.
• Must showcase teamwork and communication skills.
• Must be able to handle money transactions responsibly.
• Must be able to multitask and act quickly.
• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts.
• Must be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at the inside and curbside pickup areas.
• Accommodate any special needs of guests, i.e., condiments, etc.
• Process To-Go and Delivery Order payments as needed
• Upsell additional products when taking take-out orders.
• Take orders using software, order slips, or memorization.
• Package both hot and cold food and beverages quickly, efficiently, and safely.
• Deliver packaged food and beverages in a timely fashion to inside and outside take-out guests.
• Portion food products as required to SOP. Clean and maintain the appearance of the restaurant.
• Provide exceptional customer experience.
