Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Smile, greet each customer, use name when possible, and provide prompt, friendly service.
• Exhibit behaviors aligned with Food Lion's values and strategy.
• Shop multiple customer orders using designated tools and equipment.
• Recognize different produce varieties and guide customers accordingly.
• Substitute items when requested.
• Scan, bag, and label purchases accurately per policy.
• Verify IDs and follow policies on alcohol sales.
• Assist customers picking up orders.
• Complete Accountability Form end to end process.
• Be courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Wear Food Lion uniform with name badge and maintain neat appearance.
• Control store expenses through proper use of supplies.
• Adhere to all guidelines, policies and standard practices.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions affecting staff or customers.
• Notify QA of cleaning or maintenance needs for To-Go area and equipment.
• Complete CBT and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
• Meet physical requirements of the position, with or without accommodations.
