Job summary

Texas Roadhouse in the United States is seeking a To-Go Roadie to support our carry-out operations, deliver high standards of food quality and service, and ensure guests experience Legendary Food and Legendary Service. You will handle in-person and phone orders, use our online/mobile ordering systems, and operate the POS to process transactions while maintaining safety, teamwork, and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in a food-service or retail environment.
• Ability to take and place orders accurately by phone or in person.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling.
• Knowledge of menu to answer questions and upsell.
• Demonstrates strong organization and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and provide a legendary welcome and goodbye for To-Go orders.
• Answer calls with proper phone etiquette and take orders.
• Know the menu to accurately take and place orders.
• Package orders with accuracy and maintain organization.
• Collaborate with Back of House to complete orders.
• Provide quotes on order completion times to guests.
• Understand online and mobile app ordering systems.
• Use POS to place orders, process To-Go sales, gift cards, and transactions.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Show teamwork at all times.

Texas Roadhouse is looking for a To-Go Roadie to support our carry out operations, execute high standards of food quality and service, and ensure our To-Go guests experience the same Legendary Food and Legendary Service as our dine-in guests.

As a To-Go Roadie your responsibilities would include:

• Ensuring each guest receives a legendary welcome and goodbye when placing and/or picking up their order
• Uses proper phone etiquette when answering calls and taking orders
• Knowledgeable of menu to accurately take and place orders
• Demonstrates strong organization and accuracy when packaging orders
• Works collaboratively with Back of House staff to complete orders
• Partners with Restaurant Managers on quote times; accurately provides quotes to guests on the length of time to complete their order
• Understands our online and mobile app ordering systems
• Accurately uses point of sale (POS) system to place orders, process To-Go sales, gift card sales, and cash/credit card transactions
• Practices proper safety and sanitation procedures
• Exhibits teamwork at all times
