Job summary

Sequatchie Schools seeks a certified teacher/tutor to provide high-quality academic support for K–5 students during the TN Summer Camp Extension Grant. Responsibilities include targeted tutoring in reading and/or math, small group instruction, and collaboration with classroom teachers to ensure continuity with Tier 1 instruction.

Applicants must hold a TN teaching license for K–5, demonstrate strong knowledge of Tennessee standards, and pass a TN background check and fingerprinting.

Qualifications

• Certification in TN teaching standards and K-5 instructional strategies.
• Experience tutoring reading and/or math preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate attendance and progress records.

Responsibilities

• Targeted, standards-aligned tutoring in reading and/or math.
• Support students through engaging small group instruction.
• Collaborate with classroom teachers and program staff to support continuity with Tier 1 instruction.
• Maintain accurate records for attendance and progress.
