Job summary

Testing Site - JPMC is seeking a seasoned Software Engineer III in Wilmington to design and deliver secure, scalable TM1-based financial planning solutions. You will work on complex data integration and cube design within an agile team, translating business needs into robust, production-grade technology.

You will contribute to TI scripting, cube tuning, and reporting enhancements while collaborating with stakeholders and documenting technical aspects for long-term sustainability.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts with 3+ years experience.
• 8+ years hands-on IBM Planning Analytics TM1 development and production support.
• Deep TI scripting, rules development, and cube design expertise.
• Experience building financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting apps.
• Strong SQL skills for data integration and ETL.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking.
• Strong verbal and written communication with stakeholders.
• Comprehensive technical documentation experience.

Responsibilities

As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Corporate Finance Technology team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm’s business objectives.

Job responsibilities

• Proactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture
• Contributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
• Design, develop, and maintain TM1/IBM Planning Analytics models, cubes, rules, and Turbo Integrator (TI) processes
• Build and enhance financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting solutions aligned with business requirements
• Perform complex data integration from multiple source systems into TM1 environments
• Optimize application performance through tuning of rules, processes, and cube structures
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing production support
• Support system upgrades, deployments, and environment management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 3+ years applied experience
• 8+ years of hands-on experience to Experienced to support IBM Planning Analytics TM1 development, enhancements, and production support for enterprise financial planning and reporting applications
• Deep expertise in Turbo Integrator (TI) scripting, rules development, and cube design
• Proven experience developing financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting applications
• Strong SQL skills with demonstrated experience in data integration and ETL processes
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Comprehensive technical documentation experience

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Financial Planning experience with knowledge of General Ledger concepts and processes
• Experience with AWS cloud platform and cloud-based TM1 deployments
• Exposure to IBM Planning Analytics Workspace (PAW)
