Job summary

SouthState Bank in McKinney, TX, is seeking a Treasury Management Support Specialist to join our team. The role focuses on delivering expert phone and email assistance, maintaining accounts, and coordinating with Sales Officers to resolve client Treasury Management questions.

You will develop deep product knowledge, participate in compliance training, and help mentor newer teammates while ensuring timely, accurate processing and high-quality service for internal and external clients.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2 years in Treasury Management, Bank Operations, or Client Service.
• MS Office proficiency; ability to read, write and understand English; knowledge of Treasury Management products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone and email support for client resolution on Treasury Management issues, account maintenance, and products.
• Research and respond to Treasury Management inquiries in a professional, timely manner, partnering with Sales Officers when necessary.
• Assist with Treasury Management account maintenance in the bank’s core and online platform.
• Maintain documentation with accuracy and ensure service levels are met.
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal staff and assist with special projects as required.

Essential Functions

• Develop and maintain extensive technical knowledge of products, services, setup documentation, operating systems, and data transmissions, file formats and protocols used for the delivery and support of Treasury Management products and services.
• Provide phone and email support for client resolution on Treasury Management issues, account maintenance, and products.
• Research and respond to all Treasury Management client inquiries in a professional, timely and efficient manner, partnering with Treasury Management Support Specialists and Sales Officers when necessary.
• Assist with performing Treasury Management account maintenance in the bank’s core and the online treasury platform.
• Assist with developing less-experienced team members.
• Master, develop competency in more complex issues such as file mappers, technical troubleshooting for ACH, Wire, RDC, Instant Payments, and Integrated Payables and other Treasury Management products.
• Ensure that all quality services level agreements related to implementation tasks and timelines are met.
• Ensure all required documentation is received, accurate, and scanned accordingly.
• Ensure the highest level of service is provided to internal and external clients.
• Provide subject matter expertise to internal bank staff as required.
• Assist with special projects as required.
• Completes all required annual compliance training timely.
• Participates in conversion projects related to Bank mergers when needed.
• Accepts other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education, And Certification Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 years of related experience (Treasury Management, Bank Operations, Client Service); Previous banking experience required.
• Certifications/Specific Knowledge: MS office expertise, Ability to read, write, speak and understand English; Knowledge of Treasury Management products / services, account analysis and online banking systems is preferred. Excellent written/oral communications skills; Proven success in problem analysis and resolution; Strong attention to detail and accuracy; Strong organization skills; Ability to manage multiple detailed work assignments with a high degree of accuracy.

Training Requirements/Classes

Required annual compliance training, New Employee Orientation

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, and reports. This position requires a large amount of time in front of a computer. This can be done sitting or standing with use of the right desk.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This position is located in a cubicle environment that may be loud throughout the day. The position is located inside a cooled and heated facility with ability to go to a break room or rest room during breaks.

TRAVEL

Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
