Job summary

Learn It Academic Services in Newark, DE seeks a Title I Teacher to provide targeted academic support for students in small-group settings. You will develop lessons, track progress, and partner with schools and families to drive student growth.

The role emphasizes collaboration, organization, and a commitment to student progress, with remote teaching as applicable and a focus on supporting diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Active and valid teaching certification or Statement of Eligibility.
• Teaching experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school students.
• Title I experience preferred.
• Ability to complete district fingerprinting and background clearance when applicable.
• Reliable internet and a computer with webcam for remote teaching when applicable.

What You Have

Physical Requirements

Must be able to walk, run, stand, sit, bend, kneel, squat, crawl, reach, balance, and move quickly as needed. Must push, pull, and lift up to 50 lbs., maintain client safety awareness, respond quickly to changes, and safely manage client movement per ABA guidelines. Requires stamina, sustained concentration, effective communication, and ability to work in loud, high-stimulation environments. Must assist with hygiene and toileting as needed.
