Job summary

Barnesville Elementary School is seeking a Title I Paraprofessional to deliver reading and math interventions to students in one-on-one or small-group settings. The role includes 1 hour of daily recess supervision and close collaboration with teachers to monitor progress and support student learning.

The position is 5.75 hours per day, with compensation based on experience and qualifications as per the MSEA contract. This is an onsite paraprofessional role serving Barnesville students.

Qualifications

• Two years of college education or 60 credits.
• Three years of experience and demonstrated competency/attendance at district-facilitated trainings.
• A passing score on the Para-pro or Para-educator assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide reading and math interventions to students one-on-one or in small groups.
• Monitor progress and assist classroom teachers and intervention staff in supporting student learning.
• Support the daily 1-hour recess supervision and safety of students.
• Collaborate with teachers to tailor instructional activities and monitor student progress.

Barnesville Elementary is seeking a Title I Paraprofessional. This is a 5.75-hour-per-day position thatprovides reading and math interventions to students who need additional academic support through one-on-one instruction and/or small-group interventions, along with 1-hour of daily recess supervision. This individual will work closely with classroom teachers and intervention staff to support student learning, monitor progress, and help students build the skills needed for academic success.

Qualifications (any 1 of the 3):

• At least two years of college education or 60 credits
• Three years of experience and demonstrated competency/attendance at district-facilitated trainings
• A passing score on the Para-pro or Para-educator assessment

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary range for this position is $21.30 per hour to $26.74 per hour depending on qualifications and experience.
